Is microdosing safe?

Yes, absolutely. Following the recommended guidelines and procedures will ensure that you have a safe microdosing experience.

How often should I microdose?

Dr. James Fadiman, the author of the Psychedelic Explorer’s Guide, recommends taking a microdose once every three days. Take a microdose on Day 1. Then do not take a microdose on Day 2 or Day 3. Then, take another microdose on Day 4.

Who should avoid microdosing?

Do not take this product if you are currently taking prescription medications such as Tricyclic antidepressants, serotonin reuptake inhibitors (SSRIs), serotonin-norepinephrine reuptake inhibitors (SNRIs) or lithium bicarbonate as these could cause a dangerous condition known as serotonin syndrome. It is not advised to use this product if you are taking monoamine oxidase inhibitors (MAOIs) or antipsychotics can diminish the effects of psychedelics in general.

What time of the day is ideal?

We recommend taking your microdose in the morning, when you wake up, as the effects can last up to 12 hours. Taking an evening dose can result in a disrupted sleep.

Should I take with food?

We suggest taking your microdose on an empty stomach. If you experience any gut issues then try taking it with a small meal.

Can you overdose?

No. If you feel like your dose is too high, don’t be concerned. A higher than recommended dose than needed will generally result in extra energy, enhanced vision and some slight visuals. To reduce the effects we recommend using CBD or magnesium. It is strongly recommended to follow the dosing instructions and protocols to experience the maximum benefit that microdosing has to offer.

Is it illegal?

1P-LSD and Psilacetin (4-ACO-DMT) are analogues of classic psychedelics and are legal in Canada.

What constitutes a microdose?

Microdosing refers to taking a small fraction of what is considered a recreational dose of LSD or other hallucinogen. A standard microdose for 1P-LSD is 10ug and for Psilacetin (4-ACO-DMT) it’s 1mg.

What’s the maximum dosage you would suggest?

We wouldn’t recommend exceeding 15ml (15ug) of 1P-LSD and no more than 2 Psilocin capsules per day.

Will it affect my sleep?

We recommend taking the 1P-LSD microdose early in the morning as it can last for 8-12 hours. 4-ACO-DMT lasts about 4-7 hours. Taking it later in the day can affect your sleep.

Will I hallucinate?

No, you won’t hallucinate if you follow the recommended dosage.

Can 1P-LSD be detected in a drug test?

Given its pharmacological similarities to LSD, and its likely function as a prodrug of it, 1P-LSD is likely to trigger relevant drug tests in exactly the same way. However, LSD tends not to be included in standard drug tests and is only sometimes tested for in extended screens.

As with LSD, excretion through urine reaches a peak about 4 to 6 hours after administering a dose in humans, but even then, the amounts are quite small. There are four known major metabolites of LSD in humans that are excreted and can be detected in urine for up to 4 to 5 days after ingestion, with observed inter-individual variation.

The average time LSD can be detected in blood is 6-12 hours and in urine is 2-4 days. However, for now, it is not typically included in standard drug screens.
